IBPS Clerk PayScale & Increments:

Initial Basic Pay Rs 11765 with a yearly increment of Rs 655 for three years.
Basic Pay after 3 years Rs. 13,730 with a yearly increment of Rs 815 for the next three years.
Basic Pay after the next 3 years Rs. 16,175 with a yearly increment of Rs 980 for the next four years.
Basic Pay after the next 4 years Rs. 20,095 with a yearly increment of Rs 1145 for the next 7 years.
Basic Pay after the next 7 years Rs. 28,110 with a yearly increment of Rs 2,120 for the next one year.
Basic Pay after the next 1 year Rs. 30,230 with a yearly increment of Rs 1310 for the next one year.
Basic Pay after next year Rs. 31,540 (maximum Basic Pay).
The minimum basic pay of an IBPS Clerk is Rs. 11,765/- and the maximum goes till Rs. 31,540.

IBPS Clerk Allowances:

 Besides the IBPS clerk salary 2019 in hand, there will be various allowances. As per the norms, the IBPS Clerk allowances details are given below,

  • Dearness allowance (DA) – The dearness allowance will be 4% of the basic pay. The value of the dearness allowance will vary according to the Consumer Price Index (CPI). It is notable that for every 3 months the consumer price index will be revised
  • Housing Rent Allowance (HRA): It will be in the range of 7% to 9% of the basic pay. It may vary according to the place of posting.

  • Medical allowance – For IBPS Clerk Rs. 2000 per annum is the fixed amount provided as the medical allowance.
  • Special Allowance – It will be 7.5% of the basic pay. After one year it will have an increment in the range of Rs.400 to 500.
  • Travel Allowance – The travel expenses will be reimbursed by the bank.

IBPS Clerk Job Profile:

IBPS Clerk Job profile consists of the following Roles and Responsibilities. After joining as a clerk in any public sector banks you have the roles and responsibilities to do. A person in the clerical cadre is the primary one who is responsible for the banking related queries and issues. Clerk’s job is known as a single-window operator because they deal with the front desk work and customer handling operations.

The Job Responsibilities of an IBPS Clerk is given below.

1 A clerk also deals with opening new accounts, cash collection, issuing bank statements, and handling mails and delivery.
2 Updating the passbooks of account holders
3 To manage inquiry corners, receipts, withdrawal, etc.
4 Issuing of Demand Drafts (DDs), bank accounts for the customers, cash receipts, etc.
5 Providing guidance to customers relating to various banking activities
6 Maintaining the various documents of the bank, balance sheets, ledger, etc.
7 Attending to treasury works
8 Verification of various documents and proofs submitted by the customers
9 Sanctioning of withdrawals by the customers
10 Resolving the various issues of the customers
11 Responsible for bank cash, various important documents, keys, etc.

 

IBPS Clerk Promotion & Career Growth:
