SBI PO Study Notes 2020: State bank of India (SBI) will soon release the notification for the recruitment of candidates as a probationary officer (PO). It is one of the most prestigious recruitment programs for the banking sector. Every year lakhs of aspirants aspire to be a part of the State bank of India. SBI PO Vacancies

SBI PO Recruitment is conducted to recruit candidates for the post of probationary officer. Last year i.e. in 2019 SBI released a total of 2000 SBI PO vacancies. The 2000 vacancies were divided into the following categories. The vacancy list is given below in the tabular format:

SBI PO Selection Procedure

The recruitment board will conduct a recruitment drive in three phases. They are:

  1. Preliminary Test
  2. Mains Test
  3. Group Exercise and Personal Interview

Detailed Syllabus for SBI PO 2020

SBI PO Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of SBI PO 2020 includes three stages:

  1. Preliminary test: It is an online multiple-choice question examination. It consists of 100 questions for each question of 1 mark. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted.
  2. Mains test: It is the second phase of the selection process. It is designed to test the candidate through both objective and descriptive tests. The total marks for both the phases are 250 marks.
  3. Group exercise and interview: This is the third and final stage of selection. The total marks assigned to this stage is 50 marks.

To successfully get selected as the probationary officer in the State bank of India the candidate has to pass all the above-mentioned recruitment stages. The sectional description of all the stages of the examination i.e. preliminary, mains, and interview is given below in tabular format.
