Confusing Statements in Puzzles – SBI PO 2019

Hi IGians,

As SBI PO preliminary examination is around the corner and students must have started their preparation immediately after the release of its notification. Last year there are a few changes introduced in mains examination but there is no major change in prelims.

Students are frequently got confused in some statement in Puzzle. Here we have given the clear idea about the most confusing statements in Puzzles.

Confusing statement 1. Box B is placed two boxes above A.

Confusing statement 2. Box B is placed two Boxes below A.

Confusing statement 3. There are two boxes are placed between A and B.

Similarly for floors :

  • A lives two floor above B

  • Three are two person lives between A and B

  • A lives two floors below B

Confusing statement 4.Number of person lives between A and B is same as the number of person lives between X and Y.

This statement is also valid for Boxes also.

Number of Boxes Placed between A and B is same as the number of boxes placed between X and Y

Confusing statement 5:  The Number of person lives between A and B is one more than the number of person lives between X and Y.

This statement is also valid for Boxes also.

The number of boxes placed between A and B is one more than the number of Boxes Placed between X and Y.

Confusing statement 6:  A lives above B.

This statement is also valid for Boxes also.

Box A is placed above B.

Confusing statement 7: 

  • A lives immediately above B
  • Box A placed immediately above Box B

Confusing statement 8.

  • At least two boxes are placed above A.
  • Similarly for floors:
  • At least two people are lives above A.

Confusing statement 9

  • At least two boxes are placed below A.
  • At least two people are lives above A.

Confusing statement 10.

  • Not more than two boxes are placed above A.
  • Not more than two persons are lives above A.

Confusing statement 11. Not more than two boxes are placed below A.Not more than three persons are lives below A.

Confusing statement 12

Box A placed between B and C

A lives between B and C

etc….,

Confusing statement 13.A lives exactly between B and C.

Confusing statement 14: If they give vacant floor or vacant shelf, then

Two person lives between A and B or Two boxes are placed between A and B means

Confusing statement 15

At most 10 boxes are placed in the shelf

At most ten floors are there in the building.

Trending now: There are Six floors with two flats are given such that flat B is exactly to the east of Flat A.

No one lives west of A, No one lives East of A, such a type of statements are there in exam.

Confusing statement 16:  In days or months.

A was promoted two days after B.

A was promoted two Months after B.

Confusing statement 17. A was promoted three days before B.

A was promoted three Months before B.
