Official Notification of RBI Assistant 2018

Official Notification regarding RBI Assistant 2018 will be released on the “ibps.in” official website. The exam will be conducted by IBPS in the National level every year. This year the recruitment process for Assistant posts in different branches of RBI across India will be conducted.

  • The Preliminary Examination will be conducted on the month of November 2018.
  • The Mains Examination will be conducted on the month of December 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for RBI Assistant 2018

Two stage eligibility criteria announced for RBI Assistant Recruitment 2018 as follows

  • Nationality/ Citizenship
  • Age limit
  • Educational Qualification

Nationality/ Citizenship

A Candidate must be either – a Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from other countries above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit

Above 20 years – Below 28 years.

Age Relaxation

Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent
(a) Proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating in RBI.
(b) Desirable: Working knowledge of Computer.

RBI Assistant 2018 – Application Fee

Online payment will be available from the month of October 2018.

  • General and OBC Category candidates have to pay application fee –  450/-.
  • SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen category candidates have to pay  50/- as application fee.

RBI Assistant Admit Card

RBI Assistant Admit Card will be released 15 days before the exam. Two separate admit cards will be provided for both the preliminary and main examination. The candidates need to visit official website to download Admit Card. Log in using the registration number and the date of birth to download RBI Asst Admit Card.

RBI Assistant Exam Result

The RBI Assistant 2018 will declare the result after 2 to 3 months of the completion of the examination. Candidates need to login to the official website of IBPS – ibps.in to check their results. Log in using the registration number and password to check the result.
