SSC CGL Eligibility 2022

SSC CGL Exam will be conducted for various posts in several departments in our country. Each post has its own SSC CGL 2022 Eligibility according to the designation. Here are the SSC CGL Eligibility criteria for Nationality, Educational Qualification, and age limit.

Nationality:

A candidate must be either:

  • citizen of India, or
  • the subject of Nepal, or
  • the subject of Bhutan, or
  • a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification:

SSC CGL 2022 Exam, the name itself gives details about educational qualifications. Candidates who have completed/ pursuing the final year of their graduation degree can apply for SSC CGL Post.

SSC CGL 2022 Application Process

SSC has enabled the Online Application Window for CGL 2022 from 17-09-2022 to 08-10-2022. Many aspirants are showing interest to apply for SSC CGL 2022 Recruitment. Here the detailed procedure for SSC CGL Online Apply 2022 is given,

  1. Go to SSC CGL 2022 Apply Online page and read the instructions carefully.
  2. On the SSC Official page, Click the respective link which is enabling SSC CGL Online Apply, the link will open in a new window.
  3. Click the New Registration, fill in your name, date of birth, email id, and password, and then submit the first stage of the application.
  4. After that you will receive the registration id, using the registration id and password you can log in and continue the other stage for registration.
  5. In the Next stage of Registration, fill your SSC CGL eligibility details like Age, qualification, and upload your photograph, signature in the appropriate size.
  6. Finally, check all the details which you have to enter into the SSC CGL 2022 Application and click the submit button.
  7. After that, pay the SSC CGL 2022 Application fee of Rs.100 (only for Male General and OBC Candidates) through online mode or offline mode.
  8. For making Offline Payments, applicants can pay through a bank challan.
  9. After making your application fee payment you will receive a confirmation message for successfully applying for SSC CGL recruitment.

SSC CGL 2022 Application Fees

Candidates should pay Rs. 100/- as SSC CGL Application Fee if the candidates belong to the General/OBC category. Women candidates, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from application fee payment.  Candidates can make their payments through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using debit cards.

SSC CGL Application Form Correction

SSC provides a Form Correction facility that allows candidates to edit or modify incorrect information. Candidates will be intimated about the form correction window in case of any discrepancy is found in the information. Candidates are allowed to make changes in the following particulars:

SSC CGL (DEST) Skill Test

  1. Module-II of Section-III of Paper-I will include conducting of a Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) for a duration of 15 minutes in Session-II on the same day.
  2. The “Data Entry Speed Test” (DEST) Skill Test will be conducted for a passage of about 2000 (two thousand) key depressions for a duration of 15 (fifteen) minutes. Detailed instructions regarding Skill Test will be provided by the Regional Offices of the Commission.   3. DEST will be mandatory for all the posts; however it will be qualifying in nature.
