How To Fill Bank Preferences For IBPS Clerk 2018?

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection released the notification related to recruitment for Clerical Cadre post  in the Public Sector Banks of India. The total number of vacancies for this post are 7275. The online application for IBPS Clerk exam will start from 18 September 2018 and will end on 10 October 2018.

1. Eager to work in your home town

2. Efficiency in local language of the state

  • Please note that IBPS Clerk exam is a state level exam and you have to select that from which state you want to apply.
  • The candidate should know the local language of the State/Union Territory from where you want to apply.
  • You should know to read, write and also speak the local language of the State/Union Territory.
  • For instance, if your efficiency is in Hindi language, then apply for other states instead of applying from home town. It is not mandatory to exhibit the domicile of the particular state while applying.
  • Some questions will be there in the Language Proficiency Test to check the candidate’s familiarity with the local language of the State/Union Territory.

3. Bank ranking

  • A good bank ranking has better chances of growth in your career. If you score high in IBPS Clerk VIII 2018 examination, you will achieve a good position in top ranking banks.

4. Preference and transfer policy

  • All the banks will have different policies with respect to transfer from one location to another during their employment in bank.
  • Further, some of the banks will consider your preferences regarding location while some banks may not do so.
