Directions (1-5): Study the given Information carefully and answer the following questions.

Eight boxes placed one over another in a shelf.The bottom most shelf is numbered as one and the shelf above the one is numbered as two and so on until the top most shelf is numbered as nine. One of it remains vacant. These boxes are different in colours viz.,Black, Orange, Yellow, Blue, White, brown, Red and Pink. Each box are in different weights viz., 20kg, 49kg, 40kg, 45kg, 25kg, 36kg, 42kg and 50kg but not necessarily in the same order.

Blue colour box is placed at third position from bottom. Two boxes are placed between Blue colour box and the box which is 36kg weight. The weight of red colour box is twice that of weight of yellow colour box. Four boxes are placed between the box which has weight of 36kg and 25kg. Pink colour box is the lightest box among the group. Heaviest box is not placed in odd numbered position. Two boxes are placed between vacant shelf and pink colour box which is not placed below blue colour box. The weight of orange colour box is 5kg less than that of weight red colour box. Orange colour box is placed just above the White colour Box.  Number of Boxes placed above red colour box is as same as number of boxes placed below black colour box. Brown colour box is placed below Red colour box. White colour box is heavier than Black colour box but lighter than Blue colour box.Black colour Box is not placed just below Vacant shelf.

Directions (6-10): Study the given Information carefully and answer the following questions.

Ten exams A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and J are held in week starting from Monday to Friday. At least one and not more than two exams held in a day. These exams are held either in forenoon session or Afternoon session. Each exam has different number of questions viz., 120, 40, 60, 80, 100, 155, 180, 200, 150 and 190 but not necessarily in the same order.

Exam J has 155 questions and held one of the day after Wednesday but not on forenoon session. Four exams are held between J and C. Exam C has thrice the number of question than D. Two exams held between C and the Exam which has 60 Questions. Exam D was not held before Thursday but after Exam J. Five exams held between I and the exam which has 40 questions. Exam F was held 8.00am. Exam F was not held on Monday. Only One Exam held between F and A which has question which is Square of a number. The Exam which has 150 number of question held after F. As many Exams held between B and E is as same as between D and E. Exam G has maximum number of questions. The difference between number of questions in B and F is same as number of questions in A. Number of questions in C is more than B but less than I. Exam A was not held after F.

  • Blue colour box is placed at third position from bottom.
  • Two boxes are placed between Blue colour box and the box which is 36kg of weight.

  • The weight of red colour box is twice that of weight of yellow colour box. So the weight of red colour box is either 40kg or 50kg.
  • Four boxes are placed between the box which has weight of 36kg and 25kg.
  • Pink colour box is the lightest box among the group. So the weight of pink colour box is 20kg.from this statement we can fix the weight of Red colour and Yellow colour box. So we get Red box is 50kg weight, yellow box is 25kg weight.

  • Two boxes are placed between vacant shelf and pink colour box which is not placed below blue colour box.

  • The weight of orange colour box is 5kg less than that of the weight of red colour box. So orange colour box weight is 45kg.
  • Orange colour box is placed just above the White colour Box.

  • Number of Boxes placed above red colour box is as same as number of boxes placed below black colour box.
  • Heaviest box is not placed in odd numbered position. Here Heaviest box is Red colour Box.
  • Brown colour box is placed below Red colour box.
  • From these three conditions

  • White colour box is heavier than Black colour box but lighter than Blue colour box.
