3x2 + 9x – 14x – 42 = 0

3x (x + 3) – 14 (x + 3) = 0

II) 4y2 – 8y – 77 = 0

4y2 + 14y – 22y – 77 = 0

2y (2y + 7) – 11(2y + 7) = 0

(2y – 11) (2y + 7) = 0
