SSC CHSL 2019 Important Notification for all Applicants

The Staff Selection Commission has released an important SSC online notification amidst the application process for SSC CHSL which has already begun. As per the Commission, it is advised that all interested candidates should complete their entire application process for SSC CHSL 2019 before the closing date of 5th April 2019. This CHSL notification has been released for the benefit of the applicants who might face connectivity or website loading problem on the last date due to a heavy load on the website.

A lot of applicants might wait for the closing day to submit their SSC CHSL application but it can cause inconvenience. As per the official SSC CHSL notification released online, the last day to apply is 5th April, however, the payment window will be open for another 48 hours and applicants can complete the payment by 7th April 2019. Candidates can visit the official CHSL website, complete the application form and make the payment at the earliest to avoid any kind of last-minute errors.

This year, the SSC CHSL exam is likely to be conducted from June 1 to June 26 for the Tier-I category followed by the Tier-II exam on September 29th. Candidates aged between 18 to 27 years as on 1 August 2019 can apply for the SSC CHSL 2019 examination. There is however a relaxation of the upper age limit for the candidates belonging to the reserved category. The SSC CHSL exam is one of the most sought after government job exams for Indian candidates. The exam is conducted for candidates at the higher secondary level for recruitment into various divisions of the Indian government and under various roles. This means that candidates who have qualified class XII examination from any recognized board with a minimum qualifying mark shall be able to appear for this examination.

The application fee for the exam is Rs. 100/- that can be paid through net banking/credit/debit cards. Female candidates, physically disabled candidates, SC, ST candidates, and ex-servicemen are, however, exempted from paying any kind of fees. The SSC CHSL exam will be conducted in 3 stages. The initial round will be a computer-based preliminary round, on qualifying it, candidates need to appear for a written test. Those who clear the written round will have to appear for the final round of interview. The candidates who can ace the interview round with flying colors will be eligible to be appointed as per the vacancy norms laid out by SSC.

Once the payment for SSC CHSL exam is done, candidates will be provided with their e-admit card on their registered email ID. So candidates must ensure that they provide an email ID that’s active and accessible by them. A printout of the e-admit card is mandatory in order to sit for the exam, failing to do so might result in barring from appearing for the exam. All SSC CHSL 2019 candidates are requested to keep their e-admit card safely. Normally the admit cards are released 3-4 weeks prior to the commencement of the exam.
