1) shrank (verb) — सिकुड़ जाना

Meaning : become or make smaller in size or amount.

Synonyms : get smaller, become/grow smaller, contract, diminish, lessen

Antonyms : expand, increase

Usage : “the workforce shrank to a thousand”

 

2) threshold (noun) — दहलीज़

Meaning : a strip of wood or stone forming the bottom of a doorway and crossed in entering a house or room.
