Candidates are advised to go through a detailed exam pattern and syllabus before starting the SSC JHT Preparation. This will help candidates to understand the structure of the exam.   • Paper-I will consist of Objective Type- Multiple choice questions only.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.
  • Paper-II shall be evaluated in respect of only those candidates, who attain the minimum qualifying standard in Paper-I or part thereof as may be fixed at the discretion of the Commission.
  • The Commission may at its discretion, fix qualifying marks in Paper-II.

Build a study plan

After knowing the SSC JHT syllabus and exam pattern, the next step is to prepare a study plan. A good study plan involves a dedicated timetable for all sections of the exam. This will help you track your SSC JHT preparation such as what topics have already covered and which are left.

The SSC JHT Paper-II is of descriptive type. It comprises of Translation and Essay of 200 marks which are to be answered in 2 hours.

Write an Essay – Try writing an essay daily. You can take the previous years’ topics.

SSC JHT Tips for writing a perfect essay:

A good essay must include the following headings:
