Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released the notification on the post of Police Sub-Inspector (PSI), Sergeant and [Assistant Superintendent Jail (Direct Recruitment), against Advt No. 01/2019. A huge number of candidates have applied and appeared for the selection process. The commission had conducted the prelims exam on 22nd December 2018 for 5,85,829 candidates out of which 50,072 qualified from the exam. Then on 29th November 2020, the mains exam was conducted in two shifts and the result was announced on 16 January 2021. A total of 15,231 candidates were qualified for PET. The physical test (PET)was conducted from 22 March to 12 April 2021 at Patna.
As per the result pdf, a total of 2062 candidates have been shortlisted for PSI, Sergeant, Assistant Superitent Jail from 15,231 candidates who appeared in the PET.
