CISF ASI Recruitment 2021: Selection Procedure

The CISF recruitment board will be going to recruit the eligible candidates based on

(i) Stage-1 – Checking of Service Records

(ii) Stage-2 – Written Exam

(iii) Stage-3 – Physical Standard Test

(iv) Stage-4 – Physical Endurance Test

(v) Detailed Medical Examination

(vi) Number of chances applicable to complete LDCE

  • Three chances only
  • Candidates are allowed to avail themselves only three chances
  • (One chance will be counted for those candidates who have attended the written exam of ASI/Exe (LDCE)-2019 which has been scraped and the fresh written exam is scheduled to be conducted shortly.)

CISF Recruitment 2021 Notification:

(i) Stage-1 – Checking of Service Records:

  • The candidates must have good or above good ACRS for the last 05 years and should have an unblemished service record till the issue of offer of appointment.
  • No marks are allotted. However, it should be ensured that candidates must have good or above good ACRS for the last 05 years and an unblemished service record till the issue of offer of appointment

(ii) Stage-2 – Written Exam:

Written Examination will comprise of OMR Based question paper. There shall be one objective question paper with multiple choices consisting of 200 marks Duration will be 3.30 hours. The candidates will be assessed in the following subjects

It is necessary for the candidates to score at least 45% marks in each part and 50%  in aggregate. Relaxation of 5% marks will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.

(v) Stage-5 – Medical Standard Test:

Visual Standards

The candidates will be tested for visual standards as per the following parameters:

  1. Visual Acuity Unaided (Near vision): Better Eye- N6, Worse Eye- N9
  2. Uncorrected Visual Acuity (Distant Vision): Better Eye 6/6, Worse Eye- 6/9
  3. Refraction: Visual Correction of any kind will not be permitted even by glasses.
  4. CP-III by ISIHARA

Additional 10% candidates over and above the number of vacancies from amongst the qualified candidates in Written Examination and PET, in order of merit, shall be called for medical examination to take care of those candidates who either remain absent or fail in DME/RME. The candidates declared fit in DME and subsequent RME will not have a right of final selection, as final selection will be merit-based depending upon the number of vacancies. Hence any claim in this regard, later on, will not be entertained.

CISF ASI Recruitment 2021 Notification: Final Selection List

Name of candidates will be placed in the merit list subject to the provision that candidate belonging to

  • The general category has secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks ie, 100 marks out of a total of 200 marks, and
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST category have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks ie. 90 marks.

Final selection of candidates will be made according to availability of vacancies and subject to their being declared ‘FIT’ in the Detailed Medical Examination or Review medical examination as the case may be.
