• Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate
• Number of Questions – 150
• Marking Scheme – Each question will carry one mark
• Negative Marking – No marks are reduced for wrong answers
• Duration – 2 hours and 30 minutes

CTET Exam 2020 – Nature of Questions

• The Child Development and Pedagogy will focus on educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6-11 years for Paper I and the age group of 11-14 years for Paper-II.
• The language I – Focus on the proficiencies related to the medium of instruction.
• Language II – Focus on the elements of language, communication and comprehension abilities
• Mathematics and Environmental Studies / Mathematics and Science, and Social Studies/Social Science will focus on the concepts, problem-solving abilities and pedagogical understanding and applications of the subjects
