Every year, World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) takes place from November 18 to November 24. The subject of WAAW this year is “Preventing Antimicrobial Resistance Together.” It’s an international campaign to raise awareness about the growing problem of antibiotic and antimicrobial resistance.

  • Krishna Mercantile Co-operative Bank Ltd, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), and Kendrapara Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd,Kendrapara, Odisha were fined Rs 50,000 each.
  • The Nawanagar Co-operative Bank Ltd, Jamnagar (Gujarat) is penalized with Rs 25,000
