The above logic is wrong.
17 – 9 = 8 that is 8^1
81 – 17 = 64 that is 8^2
297 – 81 = 216 but here 216 is 6^3 not 8^3.

Step 1 :
17 – 9 = 8
81 – 17 = 64
297 – 81= 216
Step 2 :
Divide the above difference value by 8
We will get
8/8 = 1 (i.e)1^3
64/8 = 8 (i.e)2^3
216/8 = 27 (i.e)3^3
x/8 = 4^3
x = 512
So the next series will be 4^3 that is 64 and multiply by 8 then we will get 512 which is the next difference.Now add 512 with 297.Answer for first missing number is 809.
Follow the same logic to find second missing number in that sequence.

Logic: Difference 8, 8^2, 8^3
The above logic is wrong.
15 – 7 = 8 that is 8^1
79 – 15 = 64 that is 8^2
But 295 – 79 is 216.It is 6^3 value not 8^3.
