- Knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matric Standard
- A degree in Ayurvedic System of Medicine from any University or institution recognized by the Govt.
- Age Limit: 23 to 42 years

- Selection Criteria of Ayush Medical Officer (Volunteers)
- Selection will be made only on the basis of higher percentage in basic qualification i.e. BAMS/BUMS/BHMS.
- The appointment will be for 89 days, which may be extended further for 89 days after giving one day working break.
Duties of Ayush Medical OfficerÂ

- AYUSH Medical Officer (Volunteers) will work in AYUSH institution under the supervision of District Ayurvedic Officer
- He/She will examine the patients and provide necessary medical treatment to the patients.
- He/She will aware the general public against COVID-19 and will perform duties as per directions of higher authorities during COVID-19 crises.
- He will motivate cases of Family Planning Programme.
- He will also participate in the Public Health Programme of village.
- He is responsible for maintenance of discipline and cleanliness in the dispensary.
- He will maintain attendance, patient, store, stock, movement, account’s register & cashbook of the dispensary. He will also prepare his pay bill and his subordinate staff.
- Other duties assigned by the department from time to time.
