IAF Airmen Selection Procedure Details
Indian Air Force has recently announced the notification for the engagement of Airmen Group X & Y posts. The exam has been conducted for IAF Airmen Group X & Y intake 02/2021. One of the most important defence notifications among the aspirants. A lot of candidates have applied and eagerly appeared for the recruitment drive. The selection process is based on Phase 1, 2, Adaptability test 1, 2, and Medical Examination rounds. As of now, the online written exam was conducted successfully from 04th November 2020 to 08th November 2020. A huge number of applicants have appeared for the exam.

The shortlisted candidates from the phase 1 exam will have to appear for the Phase 2 Exam. The IAF Airmen 2021 Phase 2 Exam will start on 11th January 2021 onwards. IAF Airmen Phase 2 Exam Details:
Shortlisted candidates from the Phase-1 exam will be called for the phase 2 exam which will be conducted from 11th January onwards. For that, the officials will issue a new Admit Card for the Phase-II exam on their registered e-mail ID. Candidates can also download the admit card from the candidate login. So candidates have to download the admit card. All original documents/certificates (as applicable) along with self-attested photocopies will be required to be produced for appearing in the Phase-II test.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Candidates who pass the phase 1 Online Exam as per the merit list, a stipulated date will be called at designated Airmen Selection Centre for Physical Fitness Test (PFT). Physical Fitness Test is consist of:
- 1.6 Km run (to be completed within 06 minutes and 30 seconds)
- 10 push-ups
- 10 sit-ups, and
- 20 squats
