Wealth of Indian adults rises marginally amid covid outbreak: Credit Suisse

  • Wealth per adult in India rose 6% to USD 17,420, despite covid-19 bringing economic activities across the nation to a standstill with gross domestic product (GDP) contracting 23.9% in the first quarter of the current fiscal, shows the Global Wealth Report 2020 by Credit Suisse. RBI revises norms for housing finance firms

India Fourth Most Powerful Country In Asia: Asia Power Index 2020

  • India has become the fourth most powerful country in the Asia-Pacific region, according to the Sydney-based Lowy Institute’s Asia Power Index for 2020, which ranks 26 nations and territories.
  • India was on the fourth spot in the index after Japan. However, the economic growth potential India lost during a pandemic gave an advantage to China.

India Ranks Second in Inflow of Migrants to OECD Countries, China Retains Top Spot

India Conducts Successful Night Trial of Nuclear-Capable Prithvi-2 Missile From Odisha Test Range
