  • The Maharashtra government has developed a website-based migration tracking system (MTS) application to map the movement of vulnerable seasonal migrant workers through individual unique identity numbers.

  • Union Bank of India became the first public sector bank to go live on the Account Aggregator (AA) ecosystem for participating in Govt. of India’s Digital Initiatives.
  • Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has restructured its committee on secondary market, which provides suggestions to the capital markets regulator on improving market safety, efficiency and transparency.

  • Flipkart has signed a memorandum of understanding with the West Bengal government to train and support local artisans, weavers and handicraft makers to leverage its e-commerce platform to scale up their businesses nationally.
  • The African Asian Rural Development Organisation (AARDO) and the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K) have signed an MoU (Memorandum of understanding) to encourage and work collaboratively in research, consulting firms, technical and knowledge assistance in promoting sustainable agriculture and rural development practices in the 33 member-AARDO, which involves 31 nations in the Asian-African region.
  • The Ministry of Railways signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT) to establish a collaborative working partnership & the partnership entails coordination and resource sharing with respect to provision of telecommunication facilities in the delivery and implementation of C-DoT’s Telecom Solutions and services in Railways.
  • The National Investment and Infrastructure Fund’s (NIIF) Ayana Renewable Power (Ayana) and Norway-based Greenstat ASA’s subsidiary Greenstat Hydrogen India, have entered into a joint development agreement for development of green hydrogen projects powered by renewable energy in India.

  • According to the new report by data analytics firm Chainalysis, investors around the world realized total gains of $162.7 billion in 2021, compared to just $32.5 billion in 2020 & the United States lead by a wide margin at an estimated $47 billion in realized cryptocurrency gains, followed by the UK, Germany, Japan, and China, Meanwhile, India ranked a lowly 21st with realized gains of around $1.85 billion.
