  1. Nobel Prize in Literature – Awarded by the Swedish Academy
  2. Nobel Prize in Chemistry – Awarded by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences
  3. Nobel Prize in Peace – Awarded by the Norwegian Nobel Committee
  4. Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine – Awarded by the Karolinska Institute
  5. Nobel Prize in Physics – Awarded by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences
  6. Nobel Prize in Economics – Awarded by the Sveriges Riksbank, Bank of Sweden

Nobel Prize Money 2022:

Every year, the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize is revealed for the entire world to rejoice. It became a widespread custom following the passing of rich Swedish inventor and businessman Alfred Nobel in 1896. Because Nobel left his enormous wealth to “prizes to those who, during the preceding year, shall have imparted the greatest benefit to mankind,” the reading of his will stunned the entire globe.

How Much Is the Nobel Prize Amount?

At a ceremony in Stockholm, Sweden, the first Nobel Prize cash sum was given out five years to the day after Alfred Nobel passed away. The Nobel Prize prize sum has varied over the years, from under $20,000 to over $1 million, as the number of Nobel Laureates has increased.

The Nobel foundation came to the decision in 2016 that, moving forward, the recipient of the award should also receive a Nobel Prize cash prize of roughly $1 million in addition to the gold medal and diploma that were presented. The next year, in 2017, it was precisely $1 million. The prize had already increased by six figures by the time 2020 arrived, just three years later. The Nobel Prize Money for 2022 is set at Swedish kronor (SEK) 10.0 million per full Nobel Prize.

Nobel Prize Winners List 1901 to 2022:

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, the Swedish Academy, the Karolinska Institutet, and the Norwegian Nobel Committee present the Nobel Prizes  annually to people and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to chemistry, physics, literature, peace, physiology, or medicine. They were created by Alfred Nobel’s 1895 will, which stipulated that the Nobel Foundation be in charge of managing the prizes. The Sveriges Riksbank, the Swedish central bank, established the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 1968 in recognition of achievements to economics. Each laureate or Nobelist is awarded a gold medal, a certificate, and an amount of money chosen by the Nobel Foundation each year.
