NABARD Grade A Selection Process 2021:

The selection process will happen in three stages. They are,

  • Preliminary exam
  • Main exam
  • Interview

NABARD Grade A Exam Pattern 2021:

The prelims exam is the initial stage of the selection process. It is just a qualifying stage for the mains exam. Marks scored in the prelims exam will not be considered for the final selection. The Exam pattern for the prelims exam is almost common for both Grade A & B posts. The NABARD Grade A prelims pattern 2021 details are given below for your reference.

NABARD Grade A Exam Pattern 2021:

Candidates who qualified the prelims exam have to attend the mains exam. Marks scored in the mains exam will be considered for the final selection. So candidates have to give more importance to this exam.

Mains Exam Pattern:

  • The mains exam will have 2 papers.
  • The 1st paper is general English for 100 marks. Also, 90 minutes of time duration is given.
  • The analytical and drafting abilities of the candidate are assessed through paper 1. It includes essay writing, comprehension, report writing, paragraph writing & letter writing.
  • Paper 2 will vary based on the post. The total mark for paper 2 is 100. The time duration for paper 2 is also 90 minutes.

Interview (RDBS/Rajbhasha): 50 Marks

  • The calling ratio to qualify for the main examination and interview would be a maximum of 1:25 and 1:3, respectively. The ratio may be suitably reduced at the discretion of the bank.
  • Candidates who qualify and rank sufficiently high as decided by NABARD shall be called for appearing at the Main Examination and Interview.
  • There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked by the candidate. For every wrong answer marked, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty in Phase-I and Phase-II, both.

Cut-offs in Phase-I and Phase-II may be applied in two stages:

(i) On scores in individual tests

(ii) On Total Score

Interview: 75 Marks
