NIACL AO Prelims Exam Patten
The NIACL AO Prelims exam is the initial stage of the selection process. It is qualifying in nature. Marks obtained in this exam will not be considered for the final selection.

Points to be Remember:Â
- NIACL AO Preliminary online examination consists of 100 Objective Questions for 100 marks.
- The 100 Objective questions are split into 3 sections and each section having a 20mins time duration.
- Candidates should answer the questions within their sectional time duration.
- One-fourth of assigned marks will be deducted as a penalty forever wrong answers.
- There will be no penalty for not answering questions (i.e.) If candidates left blank any questions, there are no marks will be deducted as a penalty for the question.
- For NIACL AO Main Examination 15 times of Vacancies (Approximately 5*312) will be shortlisted based on the Phase I Prelims Exam.

Important Points:
- NIACL AO Mains Exam comprises Aptitude, Reasoning, English & General Awareness.
- For Specialist additionally, there will be a technical & professional knowledge section which will be a descriptive type.
- The descriptive question consists of Letter writing and Essay writing.
- Candidates should answer the descriptive type question by typing on the computer.
- Here for the mains examination, there will no sectional timing for each section.
- Candidates should get the minimum qualifying mark in each section.
- Minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the recruitment board.
- There will be 0.25 negative marks for every wrong answer.
