Answers :

1) Answer: C

all the digits of the number are written in ascending order within the number, then we will get the below sequence.

347  345  279  249  146

Sum of the middle digits of all the numbers = 4 + 4 + 7 + 4 + 4 = 23

2) Answer: B

all the digits of the number are written in descending order within the number, then we will get the below sequence.

743  543  972  942  641

The second lowest number is 641.

3) Answer: D

924 >729 > 641 > 534 > 374

3rd digit of 2nd highest number = 9

2nd digit of 2nd lowest number = 3

So, 9/3 = 3

4) Answer: C

374=> 3+4 = 7

534=> 5+4 = 9

729=> 7+9 = 16

924=> 9+4 = 13

641=> 6+1 = 7

So, 534 is the answer.

5) Answer: B

If 1 is added to the 2nd digit of each number, then we will get the following sequence.

384  544 739  934  651

Here, only two numbers 384 and 651 are divisible by 3.

6) Answer: A

6    2    5    3    4    3   7    8    3    6    7   1    3   2    9    8    4    9     4    3   1    2   3    3     4     5

7) Answer: C

14th from the left end + 3rd to the right = 17th from the left end.

6    2    5    3    4    3   7    8    3    6    7   1    3   2    9    8    4    9     4    3   1    2   3    3     4     5

So, it is 4.

8) Answer: D

6    2    5    3    4    3   7    8    3    6    7   1    3   2    9    8    4    9     4    3   1    2   3    3     4     5

Only one 4 is there which is immediately followed by a number which is greater than 5

9) Answer: B

6    2    5    3    4    3   7    8    3    6    7   1    3  2    9    8    4    9     4    3   1    2   3    3     4     5

Hence, there are seven digits between the thirteenth from the left end (3) and sixth from the right end (1).

10) Answer: B

6   5    3    4    3   7    8    3    6    7   1    3     9    8    4    9     4    3   1  3    3     4     5
