Direction (1-5): Study following information carefully and answer the questions given below.

Eight Persons namely, Sam, Suresh, Kumar, Dhoni, Ziva, Rathi, Sahina and Baby are working in a company. They are living on eight different floors of a building. The lowermost floor of building is numbered one and the floor above it is numbered two and so on and the topmost floor is numbered eight. There are different numbers of employee such as 12, 14, 26, 28, 30, 37, 50 and 54, who works under them, but not necessarily in the same order.

Ziva lives on the even numbered floor below the floor numbered six. Only two persons live between Ziva and the one who has 30 employees. The number of persons live above Ziva is same as the no. of persons below Sam. The one who has 28 employees lives on a floor immediately above Sam.  Only one person lives between the one who has 28 and 26 employees. Only two persons live between Sahina and the one who has 37 employees. Neither Sam nor Ziva has 37 employees. Only one person lives between the one who has 37 employees and the one who has 12 employees. Dhoni lives on one of the floors below the one who has 37 employees. Baby has 12 employees and lives in odd numbered floor. Difference between the employees of Rathi and Kumar is 23. Rathi lives at one of the floors above Kumar.  Sam doesn’t have highest number of employees.

They like different Car brands viz., Ford, BMW, Audi, Alto, WagonR, Suzuki and Honda, but not necessarily in the same order. Their hobbies are Gardening, Reading, Painting, Dancing, Singing, Photography and Riding but not necessarily in the same order. Each prefers either Coffee or tea.

Bipin did not prefer Tea but likes BMW. Vibin’s hobby is Reading. Berkin likes Audi. The person whose hobby is dancing prefers Tea. Arun is a CTO and likes WagonR. Esai prefers Tea. Auditor neither likes Alto nor Suzuki. The two persons who prefer Tea were the one who like WagonR and the one whose hobby is Riding. Vibin likes Ford and does not prefer Tea. The one whose hobby is Reading is the Manager. The person, who is the CEO, likes Gardening. Bipin is not an Auditor. The one whose hobby is riding likes Alto and he is neither an Engineer nor CFO. Sania doesn’t have a hobby of Riding. Esai is an Engineer and his hobby is neither Painting nor Singing. The one who is the CEO prefers Coffee. Bipin’s hobby is Photography. The person who likes Honda has the hobby of Painting. Three of them prefer Tea and rest prefers Coffee.

  • From the condition 2 cases are derived from case 1.

  • From the above conditions Case 1(a) was dropped.

  • From this condition Case 2 was dropped.
  • Difference between the employees of Rathi and Kumar is 23.
  • From the statement Rathi and Kumar has either 37 or 14 employees.
  • Rathi lives at one of the floors above Kumar. Hence, Rathi lives in topmost floor.
  • Rathi has 14 employees.

  • Only one person lives between the one who has 28 and 26 employees.
  • Sam doesn’t have highest number of employees
  • Hence Sam has 50 employees.
  • Dhoni has highest number of employees.
