State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Punjab has announced the notification of Teacher Eligibility Test(TET) throughout the state. A lot of passionate candidates have applied and appeared for the recruitment drive. Candidates should qualify for the PSTET exam. Then only they are considered as eligible candidates to apply for teaching jobs in government and private schools in Punjab. The PSTET is like an eligible test for the teachers. Candidates qualifying in Paper-1 of the PSTET exam are eligible for teaching primary class i.e. 1st to 5th class. Similarly, those qualifying in Paper-2 are eligible to apply for teaching jobs in the upper primary class. Candidates who want to teach all classes from 1 to 8, need to appear for both the papers.
