So, waste pipes empties the tank = 25/504-18/28-21/24=14/504 = 14 litres per minutes

So, waste pipe can empty 60% of the tank= 75/100*36=27 minutes

Ratio of efficiency of a man to that of a woman= 3/5:1/3= 9:5

So, 36*x*9=48(x+7)*5

By solving, x=20 days

Total work= 36*20= 720 man days or 48 *27= 1296 women days

Remaining work after 6 days= 1- 6(10/720+18/1296)

= 1- 6(1/72+1/72)= 1-6*2/72= 5/6

Using MDH

20*20*1= 12*D2*5/6

D2= 40 days

Let the distance of one side be x km

x/55-x/66=1/2

x/330=1/2

x= 165 km
