3y² + 12y – 6y – 24 = 0

= > 24*30 = 720

The total cost of Orange in Shop B

= > 54*25 = 1350

Required ratio = 720: 1350 = 24: 45

The total quantity of Mango, Orange and Papaya in shop A

= > 24 + 42 + 35 = 101

The total quantity of Grapes, Apple and Papaya in shop B

= > 32 + 26 + 17 = 75

Required % = (101/75)*100 = 135 %

8) Answer: d)

The total cost of Orange and Apple in Shop A

= > (42*30) + (50*80)

= > 1260 + 4000 = 5260

The total cost of Grapes and Papaya in shop B

= > (32*30) + (17*25)

= > 960 + 425 = 1385

Required difference = 5260 – 1385 = 3875

9) Answer: a)

The total cost of Mango, Orange and Apple in shop B

= > (40*25) + (54*25) + (26*70)

= > 1000 + 1350 + 1820 = 4170

Required average = 4170/3 = 1390

10) Answer: c)

The price per kg of Papaya in Shop A = 20

The price per kg of Orange in shop B = 25

Required = (20/25)*100 = 80 %
