Direction (1-5): Read the following information carefully and answer the questions given below.

        Seven persons are living on seven different floors of the same building in such a way that the ground floor is numbered one, the above one floor is numbered two and so on till the topmost floor is numbered seven. They all are belongs to different cities in India viz., Jaipur, Goa, Delhi, Chennai, Noida, Mumbai and Patna but not necessary in the same order.

        Two persons are living between the one who belongs to Jaipur and V, who lives on one of the even numbered floors. V does not live on the second floor. M lives immediately below the one who belongs to Jaipur. Three persons are living between G and the one who belongs to Delhi. As many persons living below G is same as the persons living above the one who belongs to Mumbai. Only one person lives between F and the one who belongs to Goa. B lives immediately below the one who belongs to Goa but not in the fifth floor. As many persons born between M and the one who belongs to Patna is same as the persons between P and the one who belongs to Delhi. P does not live on the lowermost floor. T lives immediately above the one who belongs to Chennai.

Directions (6-10): In each of the questions below are given three statements followed by two conclusions numbered I and II. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts. Read all the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements, disregarding commonly known facts. Give answer

a) If only conclusion I follows.

9) Statements:

All ball are stick

No stick is shoe

All bat are stick

Conclusions:

Some bat are shoe

All ball can be bat

10) Statements:

Some water are ice

No vapour is liquid

Some ice are vapour

Conclusions:

I. Some ice are liquid

II. No liquid is ice

Answers:

Direction (1-5):

Two persons are living between the one who belongs to Jaipur and V, who lives on one of the even numbered floors. V does not live on the second floor. M lives immediately below the one who belongs to Jaipur.

Three persons are living between G and the one who belongs to Delhi. As many persons living below G is same as the persons living above the one who belongs to Mumbai.

Only one person lives between F and the one who belongs to Goa. B lives immediately below the one who belongs to Goa but not in the fifth floor.

So, Case-1(b) will be dropped.

As many persons born between M and the one who belongs to Patna is same as the persons between P and the one who belongs to Delhi. P does not live on the lowermost floor.

So, Case-2(a) and Case-2(b) will be dropped.

T lives immediately above the one who belongs to Chennai.
