SBI Clerk Exam Day Instructions and Guidelines
Check the below-mentioned guidelines by the SBI and follow them as instructed in order to avoid any kind of trouble on the exam day.
1. Candidates Should Bring the Same Passport Size Photograph as Uploaded
The candidates must bring the same photograph as uploaded in the application form. The photograph will be matched with the application and you must not change your appearance from the photo uploaded by you.
2. Candidates need to bring their own Blue/Black Stamp Pad
This a new update by the SBI. Owing to the risk of the pandemic spread through inkpads, candidates are advised to bring their own blue/black stamp pad for affixing the thumb impressions.
3. Aarogya Setu App Status to be Checked at the Exam Center
As followed by all the other examinations throughout the country, the status of the health of the candidate will be checked through the Aarogya Setu app. Candidates will be allowed if their status is shown as safe.
4. IRIS Scan instead of Biometric Thumb Impression
This year the exam authorities of the SBI Clerk has decided to remove the Biometric thumb impression of the candidates after entering the examination hall. To avoid any contact in the examination hall it has been decided by the authorities that an IRIS scan of the appearing candidates will be held.
5. Dress Code to be followed
- Light clothes are to be worn so that no device or instrument can be hidden.
- Half sleeved but not having big buttons or any badge. brooches etc.
- Don’t wear shoes, either slippers or sandals would do
- Any candidate coming in coming in customary/ religious dress must report to the center 20 minutes before the reporting time for checking.
6. Items Allowed Inside the Exam Center

- Original ID Proof & Photocopy of ID Card
- Face Mask (Mandatory)
- Ballpoint Pen

7. Items Not Allowed Inside the Exam Centers

- Calculators and Electronic Device
- Wristwatches and Smart Watches
- Cameras or any such electronic device is strictly prohibited.
- Piece of Paper.

8. Temperature Check of the Candidates will be done at the entry point
Along with the verification of Aarogya App status, SBI Clerk exam day instructions will also include candidate’s temperature check at the entry point with Thermal Guns. The temperature should be below 99.14 degrees.
