Educational & Essential Qualification:
As per the norms, Graduation is the educational qualification for SBI PO exam. So candidates should have a degree from any discipline from any recognized university. The maximum age limit for General category is 28 years. There will be relaxation for the remaining categories. For OBC – 3 years, SC/ST – 5 years, PWD – 10 years
Selection Process:
The recruitment board will conduct the recruitment process in 3 phases. They are
- Prelims Exam
- Mains Exam
- Interview
Prelims is the initial stage of the recruitment drive. It is an online based CBT. It consists of 100 questions comprises of 3 sections namely Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability & Interview. Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability both are having 35 questions each and the English section is having 30 questions. Sectional timing is applicable for each section. 20 minutes is the individual timing for each section totally the prelims will be conducted for 60 minutes. Candidates should get the minimum qualifying marks in each section to get qualify for the next stages such as Mains and interview. The minimum qualifying marks have been fixed only by the recruitment board. They will fix depends upon the number of candidates have attended the exam, difficulty level of an exam and number of vacancies announced by the board.
