SSC CGL Cut-off Score | Tier 1, 2 & 3 | Previous Year cutoff scores

The SSC CGL 2019-20 cut off has been released by Staff Selection Commission. SSC CGL Exam 2020 Tier-1 exam is held from 3rd March to 9th March 2020. There is a different cut- off for different category candidates and different Posts. SSC CGL 2020 Tier-2 exam will be conducted from November 2 to November 5, 2020, and CGL Tier-3 Descriptive Paper conducted on 22 November 2020 to 25 November 2020.  What is normalization in SSC CGL Exam?

SSC CGL exam held in online mode at Different dates, different centers, and different shifts so to avoid discrepancy in difficulty level in the exam SSC normalizes its scores of candidates. The score in SSC CGL Exam is calculated keeping a few points in mind this is called Normalisation in SSC CGL. The points consider while calculating the SSC CGL cut off is mentioned below:

  1.       The number of candidates appearing in the exam.
  2.        The total number of vacancies issued.
  3.       Region-wise vacancies issued.
  4.        The complexity level of the examination.

How SSC CGL Cut Off is calculated?

SSC CGL Cut off Score 2020 (Tier I) can be calculated by Marks obtained in (General Intelligence/reasoning + English + Quantitative Aptitude + General Awareness) after deducting negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer given by the candidate.
