The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the result dates for various recruitment examinations which were conducted by the commission recently. It hosted the examination for the post of constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Special Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles from February 11 to March 11, 2019. As per an official notice produced by the commission, the result for the exams conducted will be announced on May 31st. The time of the result declaration is, however, not announced yet.
SSC GD Exam Details
Till now, only the first phase of the exam has taken place and all the selected candidates have to pass through another 3 tests to be finally selected for the role. In total, the total number of tests that candidates need to appear for the SSC GD post are:
- Tier I – Computer Based Test
- Tier II – Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Tier III – Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Tier IV – Medical Examination
The SSC GD Tier I exam was a CBT conducted for 90 minutes, Candidates had to answer 4 sections in the question paper consisting of 100 questions of 100 marks. Candidates those who qualify SSC GD Computer based test will appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). SSC GD Constable Exam 2019 Details
The salary offered for the GD constable post as per SSC is Rs 21700- 69100. In7th Pay Commission, all central government employees are also eligible to receive 7% of dearness allowance with effect from January 2018.
