1). Blurry (Adjective) — धुँधली

Definition: perceived or remembered indistinctly.

Synonyms: cloudy, fuzzy.

Usage: there’s a very blurry line between art and advertising

 

2). Xenophobic (Adjective) – जातिवाद, जातीयवादी

Definition: having or showing a dislike of or prejudice against people from other countries.

Synonyms:  racist, racialist, ethnocentric, ethnocentrist

Usage: xenophobic attitudes

 

3). Rhetoric (Noun) — अलंकार शास्त्र

Definition: the art of effective or persuasive speaking or writing, especially the exploitation of figures of speech and other compositional techniques.

Synonyms: oratory, eloquence, power of speech, command of language, expression

Usage: he is using a common figure of rhetoric, hyperbole

 

4). Anointed (Verb) – अभिषेक करना

Definition: smear or rub with oil, typically as part of a religious ceremony.

Synonyms: smear with oil, rub with oil, apply oil to, spread oil over

Usage: high priests were anointed with oil

 

5). Philanthropist (Noun) – लोकोपकारक

Definition: a person who seeks to promote the welfare of others, especially by the generous donation of money to good causes.

Synonyms: benefactor, benefactress, humanitarian, patron, patroness, donor,

contributor

Usage: the trust was founded by an American philanthropist

 

6). Conceived (Verb) — कल्पना करना

Definition: form or devise (a plan or idea) in the mind.

Synonyms: think up, think of, come up with, dream up, draw up, devise, form, formulate

Usage: the dam project was originally conceived in 1977

 

7). Surreptitiously (Adverb) – चुपके से

Definition: in a way that attempts to avoid notice or attention; secretively.

Synonyms: Covertly, Secretly, Privately.

Usage: Mary surreptitiously slipped from the room

 

8). Throttling (Verb) – कुचलना

Definition: attack or kill (someone) by choking or strangling them.

Synonyms: choke, strangle, strangulate, garrotte, asphyxiate, smother, suffocate,

stifle

Usage: she was sorely tempted to throttle him

 

9). Lairage (Noun) — एक जगह जहां पशु या भेड़ बाजार या वध करने के रास्ते            पर विश्राम करते हैं

Definition: a place where cattle or sheep may be rested on the way to market or slaughter.

Usage: Horses are in lairage.

 

10). Stridently (Adverb) — कोलाहलमय तरीके से

Definition: in an extremely forceful way.

Synonyms: clamorous, clashing, discordant, grating, harsh, jangling, jarring

Usage: I stridently opposed the policies of the government

 

11). Slaughtered (Verb) – हत्या करना

Definition: kill (people or animals) in a cruel or violent way, typically in large numbers.

Synonyms: massacre, murder, butcher, kill, kill off, annihilate, exterminate, execute, liquidate

Usage: innocent civilians are being slaughtered

 

12). Sectarianism (Noun) – संप्रदायवाद

Definition: excessive attachment to a particular sect or party, especially in religion.

Synonyms: separatist, dissenter, dissident, nonconformist, free thinker, renegade, recusant

Usage: religious sectarianism
