1). Stagger (Verb) विचलता

Definition: astonish or deeply shock

Antonyms: carry on, continue, stay

Usage: I was staggered to find it was six o’clock

 

2). Evident (Adjective) प्रत्यक्ष

Definition:  clearly seen or understood; obvious.

Synonyms:obvious, apparent, noticeable, conspicuous, perceptible, perceivable, visible, observable, discernible, transparent, clear,

Antonyms: concealed, doubtful, uncertain, unclear, vague

Usage: she ate the biscuits with evident enjoyment

 

3). Suburb (Noun) उपनगर

Definition: an outlying district of a city, especially a residential one

Definition: a confident and forceful statement of fact or belief.

Antonyms: desertion, quiet, silence, denial, rejection

Usage: his assertion that his father had deserted the family

 

5). Crisis (Noun) संकट

Definition: a time of intense difficulty or danger

Synonyms: catastrophe, calamity, cataclysm, emergency, disaster;

6). Strive (Verb) प्रयास करना

Definition: make great efforts to achieve or obtain something.

7). Emphasize (Verb) महत्त्व देना

Definition:  give special importance or value to (something) in speaking or writing

Usage: they emphasize the need for daily, one-to-one contact between parent and child

 

8). Distaste (Noun) अरुचि

Definition: mild dislike or aversion

Usage: Harry nurtured distaste for all things athletic

 

9). Unveil (Verb) – खुलासा करना

Definition: remove a veil or covering from, in particular uncover (a new monument or work of art) as part of a public ceremony.

Definition: dealing with things sensibly and realistically in a way that is based on practical rather than theoretical considerations.

Synonyms: businesslike, down-to-earth, realistic, logical, practical, sober

Antonyms: excited, inefficient, unrealistic, impractical, irrational

Usage: a pragmatic approach to politics
