1) Scourge (Noun) — महान कष्ट

Definition: A person or thing that causes great trouble or suffering.

Synonyms: Affliction, Bane, Curse, Plague, Menace

Usage: As an environmental scourge that killed an estimated 1.24 million people in India in 2017

Definition: Lasting or existing for a long or apparently infinite time; enduring or continually recurring.
