ESIC UDC Prelims Exam Pattern

  • The examination will be in Bilingual Language i.e. Hindi & English.
  • There will be a negative marking of 1/4th marks for each question marked as wrong.
  • The Phase-I marks will be considered for making the final merit list.
  • No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
  • Each question will carry +2 marks.

ESIC UDC Exam Preparation – Subject-wise Strategy

Quantitative Aptitude

Quantitative Aptitude is an important part of ESIC UDC exam preparation. Candidates should note the following points while preparing for this section:

  • Give at least 20 mins daily for your calculation and revising your tables, squares, and cubes.
  • For clearing the ESIC UDC exam, only fast calculations will not help you, you should be thorough with your concepts because without concepts you cannot clear the exam.
  • Attempt sectional mocks and find out your weak areas.
  • Practice some DIs on a daily basis.
  • Practice more questions from your weak area and attempt your next mock only after you have worked upon your weak areas.
  • Practicing more and more questions can only help you in this section.
