Highlights of IBPS Clerk 2017 New Exam Pattern:
Dear Aspirants, IBPS Clerk 2017 notification is out, and then this is the right time to Gear Up your preparation. Before starting your preparation all should be aware of the significant changes that made in the exam pattern this year.
CHANGES IN EXAM PATTERN
This year there is no change in the pattern of IBPS Clerk 2017 preliminary exam and we can notice a huge change in the Exam Pattern of IBPS Clerk Mains Exam. In mains exam last year there was 5 sections with 200 questions in 135 minutes. But this year only 4 sections with total 190 questions in 160 minutes.

Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude
Last year in Reasoning section there were 40 questions of 50 marks in 30 minutes. But this year computer knowledge is also merged with this section and now number of question will be 50 and total marks of this section will be 60 with 45 minutes time duration. Here we can see, this section carries maximum marks, so we have to focus more in this part. Practice more Puzzles and Seating Arrangements because these two will play vital roles here. Time per question is also increased this year in this section, so more attempts in this section is advised.

General/ Financial Awareness
Now on General Awareness section question is increased to 50 and maximum marks also increased to 50. Last year total number of question in this section is 40 and maximum marks also 40. You will get enough time in this section so be calm and read the questions fully then give your answers clearly. Time is increased to 35 minutes as compared to last year’s 25 minutes, and weightage of this section is also increased. From this we can understand that, we can’t expect direct questions in GA we should be prepared to face all kind of twisted questions. This section is sure shot section, spend enough time to prepare general awareness part which will help you to boost your score.

English Language
In English Language section there is a minor change, 40 questions of 40 marks are same, only time is increase to 35 minutes (last year 30 minutes). It will be the benefit and like small treat for the aspirants those who are expecting this.

Quantitative Aptitude
In quantitative aptitude there is a change in the number of question not in total marks. So last year they gave 1.25 marks per question and this year they have given 1 mark per question. Total 50 questions of 50 marks will be asked in 45 minutes. And last year there was 40 questions of 50 marks in 30 minutes were there. Time per question is increased, so more attempt in this section are advised.
This year paper may be more conceptual than previous year because number of question is decreased and time is increased so we can expect tricky questions. So start your preparation for the IBPS CLERK 2017 and we will help you in best way.

CHANGES IN VACANCY
This year 7883 vacancies have been announced in the notification. Vacancies have been reduced this year as compared to last year. But this is not the final vacancy announced by IBPS, three organizations Vijaya Bank , Punjab National Bank and Oriental Bank of commerce have not reported their vacancies to IBPS. So we can expect a good number of revised vacancies this year. But number of vacancies doesn’t play an important role in your selection because one vacancy is enough for your selection.
