IBPS Clerk Exam Centres 2020 – Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) mentions the list of IBPS Clerk 2020 exam centres in the official notification. The exam centres of IBPS Clerk 2020 are the venues wherein the prelims and mains exams would be held. IBPS Clerk exams will be conducted across various exam centres in 34 states and union territories of the country. The exam conducting authority will also conduct pre-examination training in some selected IBPS Clerk exam centres for the reserved category candidates. 

IBPS Clerk exam centres 2020 will be allotted to candidates on the basis of the centres selected at the time of filling the application form. Candidates can find the allotment details of IBPS Clerk 2020 exam centres on their respective admit cards. IBPS Clerk is conducted for recruiting eligible candidates in clerical posts of nationalized banks of India. The exam is held in two phases – prelims and mains.

Important points related to IBPS Clerk exam centres 2020

  • Candidates are required to select their exam centres while filling the IBPS Clerk application form. 
  • Candidates can select around one exam city each for prelims and mains exam.
  • IBPS Clerk exam centres will be allotted to candidates as per their choices.
  • IBPS reserves the right to cancel any of the IBPS Clerk exam centres or add some centres at their discretion.
  • Allotment of exam centres depends on upon the response and administrative feasibility etc.
  • The institute also reserves the right to allot candidates to any centre other than the one selected by them.
  • Candidates should choose IBPS Clerk exam centres carefully since it cannot be changed after the final submission of the application form.
  • The details of exam centres will be mentioned on IBPS Clerk admit card.

Q: In how many cities will IBPS Clerk prelims exam be conducted?

A: IBPS Clerk prelims exam will be conducted across 194 cities.

Q: Can I change my IBPS Clerk exam centre?

A: There is no provision to change IBPS Clerk test centre after the release of admit card.

Q: How many exam cities can I choose?

A: Candidates can choose around one to two exam city each for prelims and mains exam.

Q: In how many shifts the exam will be conducted?

A: The exam will be conducted in four shifts for prelims exam and two shifts for the mains exam. 

Q: What if I reach the exam centre after the test begins?

A: Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam. 

Q: When should I reach the exam centre?

A: Candidates must reach the exam centre 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the exam. 

Q: Can I carry bags to the exam centre?

A: You can carry bags but it should be kept outside before entering the exam hall. 

Q: What photo-identity proof should I carry?

A: Candidates must carry Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving License, etc. 

Q: Can I show ration card as photo-identity proof?

A: No, it is not considered as valid photo-identity proof. Also, learners driving license is not considered. 

Q: Will there be any frisking at the exam centre?

A: Yes, frisking of candidates will be done before they are allowed entry to the exam centre.
