Candidates before starting the IBPS PO 2021 Apply Online process, have to check whether they fulfill the eligibility criteria that are prescribed in the official notification. Check the IBPS PO/MT eligibility criteria as mentioned below:
Nationality:
The candidate must be an Indian citizen or fulfill one of the following categories.
(i) Citizen of Nepal (or)
(ii) Citizen of Bhutan (or)
(iii) Tibetan refugees who have come to India to seek a settlement before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India (or)
(iv) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from either Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Zaire, or Zambia with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
Note: Candidates falling under the above-mentioned categories (except Indian citizens) must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must hold a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from any recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidates must have a valid mark sheet or degree certificate to register and indicate the marks obtained in graduation while filling the application form.
- Proficiency in the local language is a must. Both verbal and written proficiency is needed.
- Basic working knowledge in computer systems.

Here we have given the guidelines which will be useful to you to fill in the IBPS PO 2021 Application Form. Generally the IBPS PO 2021 Apply Online has been partitioned into 5 parts. Let’s have to look at this.
Part-1: IBPS PO Registration – Primary Details
- Log on to the official page of IBPS.
- Now, click on the “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” link on the top right corner of the page.
- After clicking the above link you get the first section of the online application form. Fill all your basic information including the highlighted mandatory fields empty. After finishing click the Save and Next button at the bottom.
- After the successful registration, a provisional registration number and password are generated.
- The provisional registration number and password are also sent to the registered email ID and password.
Part-2: Upload Photo and Signature
This is the next part of the IBPS PO 2021 Apply Online
- After the successful registration, candidates are required to upload the photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration in the prescribed format.
- Signature in capital letters is not accepted.
- The left thumb impression should be properly scanned and not smudged.
- The handwritten declaration should be in English only.

Guidelines for uploading the documents
To successfully complete the IBPS PO Apply Online 2021, candidates have to follow the guidelines for uploading the documents are given below for your reference.
Photograph:
(i) The photograph must be a recent passport-style colour picture.
(ii) The preferred dimension should be 200 x 230 pixels.
(iii) Size of the file should be between 20 kb to 50 kb.
Signature:
- The applicant has to sign on white paper with a black ink pen.
- Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels.
- The size of the file should be between 10 kb to 20 kb.
Left thumb impression
- The file should be in jpg/jpeg.
- The dimension should be 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI.
- The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink.
- The file size should be 20 kb to 50 kb.
Handwritten declaration
- The handwritten declaration should be written on white paper with black ink.
- The file should be in jpg/jpeg.
- The dimension should be 800 x 400 pixels in 200 DPI.
- The file size should be 50 kb to 100 kb.

Part-3: Fill the Secondary Details
This page has been separated into three parts, basic details, educational qualification & experience, and preferences.
Basic details: Here, candidates need to fill in the category, nationality, personal details, select exam centers, date of birth, gender, father’s name or mother’s name, address, etc.
Educational qualification, work experience & languages: Candidates have to enter the details of their graduation such as year of passing, college, percentage of marks, grade. They are also required to enter their work experience(if any). Candidates are also required to enter the languages they can read, write and speak.
Preferences: Candidates need to enter the preferences of banks where they wish to work upon selection. SC/ST/Minority candidates can opt for pre-exam training in this part.
