IBPS RRB Selection Process:

The IBPS RRB Selection Process involves online exam and interview process to select candidates. Except the office assistant post, all other officer posts of IBPS RRB recruitment will have interview round. Common factors in all IBPS RRB Exams:

There are some common factors in all the IBPS RRB online exams. They are,

  • No sectional timing. Candidates can attend any section at first. Also they can change the sections at any time as per their wish.
  • Negative marking – for each wrong answer, candidates will lose 1/4th of the marks assigned to the question.
  • Candidates have to clear both sectional and overall cut offs in all the stages.

IBPS RRB Office Assistant Selection Rounds:

IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Selection Rounds:

The officer scale I Selection has 3 rounds in total.

  • The first round preliminary exam is conducted for 80 marks. Time duration for this round is 45 minutes. The candidates will attend prelims exam as per their IBPS RRB PO exam date 2020.
  • Quantitative aptitude and reasoning are the 2 sections. Each section contains 40 questions.
  • The candidates passing in the prelims will attend the second round.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale II & III Selection Rounds:

For officer scale II and III, there is no prelims exam. Only single level examination is conducted for 200 marks. The IBPS RRB scale II exam date 2020 is available in the admit card. The candidates passing in this exam will attend the interview. The final selection will take place by calculating the marks of single level exam and interview in 80:20 respectively.

IBPS RRB Section-wise Preparation Strategy:

In IBPS RRB exams, there is no sectional time. So that you can swap between the sections at any time as per your wish. But time managing skill is very important. General Awareness:

You can attend this section as 3rd or 4th. It depends up to your knowledge in this section. But this section needs heavy practice with the mock test. Most of the candidates will not give importance to this section. Because, candidates think that, they cannot score in this section, even if they prepare. But it’s a wrong thought.
