NIACL AO Selection Process:
The NIACL AO Selection process consists of three screening stages. There are
- Phase I Prelims Exam,
- Phase II Mains Exam (Online Exam + Descriptive)
- Personal Interview & Document Verification
Before starting the preparation process candidates have to check the exam pattern and NIACL AO Syllabus. The prelims exam is the initial stage of the selection process. Candidates who have been shortlisted from the prelims exam are the only candidates to be allowed for the mains exam. 15 times Vacancies (Approximately 15*312) will be shortlisted for the NIACL AO Main Examination
NIACL AO Mains exam will be conducted through online mode which has combined both objective type and descriptive type questions. Candidates have to attend the NIACL AO Mains Descriptive test immediately followed by an objective test.
NIACL AO Mock Test
NIACL AO Mains Objective Exam:
NIACL AO Mains objective test consists of four sections, each section having 50 objective questions. Except for the English language, all three sections are bilingual. The time duration will be allotted for NIACL AO Mains is 120 mins (ie 2 hours). One-fourth of assigned marks will be deducted as a penalty forever for wrong answers. There will be no penalty for not answering questions (ie) if candidates left blank any questions, there are no marks that will be deducted as a penalty for the question.
NIACL AO Salary
Candidates must have to score minimum qualifying marks in each section of the NIACL AO Mains Objective type Exam. The Minimum marks will be determined by NIACL Company.

Descriptive Test:
A descriptive test will be conducted for 30 marks (Letter Writing-10marks & Essay-20 marks). Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer the Descriptive Test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of the Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered. A candidate shall be required to qualify in the descriptive test, but the marks in the descriptive test will not be counted towards shortlisting for an interview or final selection.
NIACL AO Exam – Marking scheme
The marking scheme in the NIACL AO exam is the same for Prelims and Mains. There is a negative marking for incorrect questions. One mark will be allotted for every correct answer marked whereas 1/4th or 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. There is no deduction for any unattended question.

NIACL AO Mains Descriptive Exam:
NIACL AO Mains Descriptive type exam consists of two sections such as letter writing and essay writing. Letter writing will have 10 marks and essay writing will have 20 marks as maximum. NIACL AO Descriptive exam will be conducted online mode in the English language only. Candidates must type their answers on the computer and the total marks allotted for NIACL AO Descriptive Exam is 30 marks and the duration will be given for 30 mins.
NIACL AO Minimum Eligible Marks for Descriptive:
NIACL allowed only those who qualify both NIACL AO Mains objective and descriptive type of examinations for the next step of the selection process that is the Interview. NIACL AO Main Exam Descriptive answers would be evaluated for those who qualified the objective test.
Candidates must have to score minimum qualifying marks in the NIACL AO Descriptive type exam also. The Minimum Qualifying Marks for the NIACL AO Descriptive type exam are as follows.
