Age Limit:

The candidate should be between 18 to 37 years as on 1.1.2021.
The upper age limit is relax-able up to 45 years in the case of persons already in the employment of the Punjab Government and its Board/Corporation/Commission/Authorities Employees and all State/Central Govt. employees.
For the SC/ST/BC, age relaxation is up to the extent of 5 years.
For the Physically Handicapped, age relaxation is up to the extent of 10 years.
Ex-serviceman of Punjab Domicile shall be allowed to deduct the period of his service in the Armed Forces of the Union from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for direct appointment to such a vacancy according to Govt. instruction, by more than 3 years, he shall be deemed to have satisfied the condition regarding upper age limit.

General Awareness, Punjabi History & Culture, General Knowledge and Current Affairs (National and International) = 30 questions.
Mental Ability/Logical Reasoning and Mathematical Skill (Matric level) = 25 questions

Language Proficiency (Punjabi and English) = 30 questions

Minimum qualifying marks for candidates belonging to all categories shall be 40% (Forty percent) of the total marks of the written test. There will be negative marking to the extent of 25% (twenty-five percent) for each wrong answer.
