Total “Times of India” newspaper sold in the month of Jan, Mar and May together from store Q

= > 42000*(1/7) + 43680*(5/14) + 50040*(7/18)

= > 6000 + 15600 + 19460 = 41060

Required % = (53360/41060)*100 = 129.95 % = 130 %

2). Answer a

The total number of Deccan Chronicle newspaper sold from store Q of all the given months together

= > 42000*(3/7) + 57000*(4/19) + 43680*(3/14) + 38550*(3/15) + 50040*(5/18)

= > 18000 + 12000 + 9360 + 7710 + 13900= 66530

Required average = 60970/5 = 12194
