102850 hundred tonnes

None of these

Directions (1 – 2):

8 years ago, the ratio of age of the father and his son = 5 : 2 (5x, 2x)

7 years hence, the ratio of age of the father and his son = 13 : 7

According to the question,

(5x + 15)/(2x + 15) = (13/7)

35x + 105 = 26x + 195

9x = 90

x = 10

The present age of the father and his son = (5x + 8), (2x + 8) = 58, 28

The average Present age of the father, mother, son and daughter = 38

Total Present age of the father, mother, son and daughter = 38*4 = 152

Total present age of the mother and her daughter = 152 – 86 = 66

Let the present age of mother and daughter be A and B,

A + B = 66 —>(1)

A – B = 34 —>(2)

By solving the equation (1) and (2),

A = 50, B = 16

The present age of daughter = 16 years

 2) Answer: b)

Let the sum invested in Scheme A be x,

SI =>Amount= [(x*8*7)/100] + x = (56x+100x)/100 = 156x/100 = 39x/25

CI => (39x/25)*[(1 + 10/100)2 – 1] =1638

= > (39x/25)*[(121/100) – 1] = 1638

= > (39x/25)*[21/100] = 1638

= >x= (1638*100*25)/(21*39) = Rs. 5000

Directions (Q. 3 – 5):

58*12 – (x/0.35) = 724*(1/4)

696 – (x/0.35) = 181

515 = (x/0.35)

x = 515*0.35 = 180.25 = 180

 4) Answer: c)

17 % of 200 + 10 % of 250 = x – (2/3) of 51

(17/100)*200 + (10/100)*250 = x – (2/3)*51

34 + 25 = x – 34

x = 34 + 25 + 34 = 93

 5) Answer: d)

7 ¼ + 5 4/7 – 3 ½ – 4 2/7 + 5 ¾ = x

x = 7 + 6 – 4 – 4 + 6 = 11

Directions (Q. 6 – 10):

 6) Answer: a)

The total production of all the given food grains in the year 2014

= >580 + 400 + 420 = 1400 hundred tonnes

The total production of all the given food grains in the year 2017

= >640 + 500 + 360 = 1500 hundred tonnes

Required difference = 150000 – 140000 = 10000 tonnes

The average production of Rice in all the given years together

= > (660 + 580 + 420 + 720 + 640 + 760)/6

= > 3780/6 = 630 hundred tonnes

= > 63000 tonnes

The total production of Wheat in all the given years together

= > 440 + 400 + 360 + 420 + 500 + 560

= > 2680 hundred tonnes

= > 268000 tonnes

The total production of Jowarin all the given years together

= > 380 + 420 + 320 + 400 + 360 + 480

= > 2360 hundred tonnes

= > 236000 tonnes

Required ratio = 268000 : 236000 = 67 : 59

The total production of all the given food grains in the year 2013

= >66000 + 44000 + 38000 = 148000 tonnes

The total production of all the given food grains in the year 2018

= >76000 + 56000 + 48000 = 180000 tonnes

Required % = (148000/180000)*100 = 82.22 % = 82 %

The total tonnes of Rice sold in the year 2014 and 2016 together

= >58000*(92/100) + 72000*(94/100)

= > 53360 + 67680 = 121040 hundred tonnes
