Tentatively Online registration date has been announced for RBI Grade B Exam application from 03rd July 2018. The application will be active up to 23rd July 2018. RBI Grade B 2018 Salary

After the enrolment on the role, the candidate of RBI Grade B Officers will receive as 12-14 Lakh annually. Also, they will receive some emoluments and perks for the post of RBI Grade B. The Pay Scale for the RBI Grade B Officer is Rs. 35150-1750(9)-50900-EB-1750(2)-54400-2000(4)-62400. This means that the candidates will be having the basic pay of Rs. 35,150/- and get an increment of Rs. 1,750/- up till nine years. After that they will get into the executive band wherein the basic pay will be of Rs. 50,900/- and get an increment of Rs. 1,750/- for two years and further an increment of Rs. 2000/- for the following 2 years thus ending up with the basic pay of Rs. 62,400/-.

Short listed candidates from Mains examination will be called for Interview Process. Interview of RBI Grade B carries 50 marks.

There are four sections comes under prelims examination. The mark distribution and the number of questions will differ on each section. RBI Grade B 2018 – Mains Exam Syllabus

RBI Grade Officers selection will be based on two-phase examination such as Prelims and Mains. The Mains exam score will be calculated for final merit. Interview and Mains exams score only decide the candidate who is going to be selected for RBI Grade B. In RBI Grade B mains syllabus contain 3 different topics that are Economic & Social Issues, Finance, and Management.

Eligibility Criteria for RBI Grade B 2018

A person to select through the RBI Grade B Notification must have certain eligibility criteria. The most important thing to clarify your age and educational qualification. If these two is not matching with RBI Grade B Notification you are not eligible to apply. So clearly read the eligibility norms of RBI Grade B. So that you can get clear idea to apply and also easy to ensure your eligibility for RBI Grade B Officer posts.

Educational Qualification

  • The candidates must have 60% of marks scored in Bachelor’s degree,10th Std and 12th Std. In case of reserved category candidate, the above percentage of mark scored will be reduced as 50%.
  • The candidates who are holding a Masters Degree 55% will be allowed to apply. furthermore clarification on an educational category you can refer the official notification at RBI web portal. It will be available from 03rd July 2018

RBI Grade B (DR – General)

  • The candidates must have 60% of marks scored in Bachelor’s degree,10th Std, and 12th Std. In case of reserved category candidate, the above percentage of mark scored will be reduced as 50%. or Diploma or equivalent

RBI Grade B (DR – DEPR)

  • Post graduation Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance, with 55% of marks scored or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized University / Institute
  • If the candidate holding M.Phil. Degree and Doctorate Degree in above-given specifications they will get relaxation in their age limit. Upper age relaxation applicable 2 year and 4 years respectively.

RBI Grade B (DR – DSIM)

  • Post Graduation in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay (OR)
  • G Degree in Mathematics and the one-year postgraduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an institute of repute (OR)
  • Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute (OR)
  • PG Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur, and IIM Calcutta.

Age Limit for RBI Grade B 2018 Applicants

RBI stated that applicant of RBI Grade B Officer post should have following age criteria to apply online. Age relaxation applicable for recerved category details you can get below.

  • Minimum Age for RBI Grade B Officers – 21 years
  • Maximum Age for RBI Grade B Officers – 30 years

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST – 5 years
  • OBC –3 years
  • Physically challenged candidate –10 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen / Ex-Employee of Banking Institutions – 5 years

Number of Attempts

The candidates can take 6 attempts. More than that the candidate will not be eligible to apply

RBI Grade B 2018 Exam Preparation

Before starting the preparation part you should know the selection process. According to the exam pattern and marks distribution, you can give attention to each topic.   • Try to learn basic Grammar topics such as Tenses, Articles, Prepositions, Degrees of Comparison, Subject-Verb Agreement, Conjunctions, Parts of Speech, Standard Construction, Adverbs, Number in Nouns, etc. Practice with “English 20-20” available here.
  • Practice with simplification, Number Series, Data Interpretation (DI). These are the main topic of QA.
