  • There is no sectional cut off.
  • Aware of penalty marks (1/4th of marks assigned to the question will be deducted as a penalty if you mark the wrong answer).

Prelims Approach for Reasoning Ability

  • Start off with easier topics in which you can maintain speed and accuracy.

Prelims Approach for Quantitative Aptitude

Mains Approach for Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude

  • SBI PO exam time 2021 for Reasoning ability & computer aptitude in mains exam – 60 minutes.
  • First, take a look at all the question in 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Analyze the question level and mark the easy to medium level questions.
  • Then attend those questions and try the remaining questions in the leftover time.

Mains Approach for Data Analysis & Interpretation

  • SBI PO exam time limit for Data analysis & interpretation in mains exam – 45 minutes.
  • Analyze all the questions in 2 to 3 minutes.
  • You may not expect easier questions in the mains exam. So, do the medium level questions first.
  • Then try the lengthy and calculative topics in which you are strong in concept wise.

Mains Approach for General / Economy / Banking Awareness

  • Time may not be a concern for this section. But accuracy is very important.
  • As per the recent trend, very in-depth questions are expected in current affairs part.
  • So, prepare accordingly and maintain accuracy.
  • The total number of questions in this section is 40. If the level of questions are in-depth and difficult, maintain the accuracy. At that level, it will be better even if your attempts are in the range of 20 to 25 with 100% accuracy.

Mains Approach for English Language & Descriptive Test

  • Like GA section, maintain accuracy even if your attempts are low. Don’t mark fluke answers.
