SSC CHSL Exam Center 2020 – How to Change center for Tier 1 Exam | Latest Update

SSC CHSL Exam Center 2020: The computer-based online exam for SSC CHSL Tier-1 was scheduled to be held from 17th March 2020 to 28th March 2020, however, due to a complete nationwide lockdown, the SSC CHSL Tier-1 exam from 20.03.2020 to 28.03.2020 could not be held and had to be postponed. Now, the Tier-1 exam of SSC CHSL will be conducted from 12.10.2020 to 16.10.2020,  19.10.2020 to 21.10.2020 and 26.10.2020 for the leftover candidates. Today SSC released an important update regarding the SSC CHSL Exam center. We are going to see what is the update about -:

SSC CHSL Exam Center  – Tier 1 Center Change Notice

Many candidates were facing difficulty as their exam centers are at far off places and traveling during this pandemic has become difficult for students. Therefore, due to requests from several candidates who complained about their centers being far from their hometown, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) authorities have decided to give students a chance to change their SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam centers. According to the recent notification dated 16.09.2020 the candidates appearing for SSC CHSL Tier-1 examination can change their SSC CHSL exam centers.

Initially the candidates of SSC CHSL Tier-1 exam are allowed to change their exam centers, however, SSC has said that students appearing for below mentioned exams will also be given a chance to change their exam centres. The dates for the same will be notified later.

  • Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2019 (Paper-I)
  • Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination, 2019
  • Selection Posts (Phase-VIII) Examination, 2020
  • Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2019 (Tier-II)

Steps to Change SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Center

  • Visit the official website of Staff Selection Commission (ssc.nic.in)
  • Log in through your Registration Number and Password.
  • Your dashboard will show up
  • Look for the “Latest Notifications” tab
  • Under “Latest Notifications” tab you will see an option like a change of SSC CHSL Exam Center 2020 for the Tier-1 exam.

Candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions given in the dashboard for change of SSC CHSL Exam Center 2020 and follow them.
