SSC releases the notification of SSC CPO every year for the recruitment of candidates to the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, Sub Inspector in CAPFs, Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF, and other Inspector and Sub Inspector Posts. The exam dates for the SSC CPO 2020 exam has been released by the SSC. The Paper-I of the SSC CPO 2020 exam is scheduled to be held from 23-26 November 2020.

SSC CPO Selection Procedure
The SSC CPO has a different selection procedure when compared to other SSC exams. The SSC CPO selection procedure has 4 stages namely:
- Paper-I
- Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET)
- Paper-II
- Detailed Medical Examination
