SSC MTS Exam Pattern -: Selection Process
As per the SSC MTS Exam pattern, the recruitment exam will be conducted in 2 stages.
Paper I: It is an objective type test, consisting of MCQs (multiple choice questions)
Paper-II: It is a descriptive type of test
SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2021– Paper I
- Paper I consists of an objective type multiple choice questions consists of 4 sections
- Paper- I is conducted for total marks of 100 marks.
- Each section consists of 25 marks.
- Every question carries 1 mark and for every wrong answer 0.25 marks are deducted
- The time duration for all the sections is about 90 minutes.
- The exam is bilingually conducted in both Hindi and EnglishÂ

SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2021– Paper-II
Paper-II examination is a pen and paper mode. It consists of descriptive paper in English or any other language described by Government policy.
The descriptive paper will conduct the exam for 50 marks. The time duration is about 30 minutes. This part is qualifying to test language skills.Â
